The international ALVARIS Group has completed a change in management at its production site in Suhl. The successor to Managing Director Torsten Riese, who has decided to work outside the Group, is Dr Markus Feil, who is currently CSO of the ALVARIS Group and a member of the management team at the Austrian site in Rankweil.

Rankweil, Suhl 01/03/2024 - With effect from 1 March 2024, the previous Managing Director of ALVARIS Profile Systems GmbH in Suhl, Thuringia, Torsten Riese, has handed over the management of the company to Dr Markus Feil.

Torsten Riese worked for the ALVARIS Group for more than 20 years in various roles, including 10 years as Managing Director, and has recently decided to move outside the Group.

"I am grateful that I was able to accompany the positive development of ALVARIS in Suhl in a responsible position," summarises Riese and goes on to emphasise, "after this long involvement, I would like to take on another new professional challenge. My special thanks go to the ALVARIS team in Suhl, without whose exemplary commitment this successful development would not have been possible."

ALVÁRIS has been based in Suhl since 2000 and initially operated purely as a trading company for aluminium profiles. By continuously expanding its value chain, the company now offers cutting and processing services as well as a comprehensive production programme of customer-specific solutions in areas ranging from frame construction, workstations and conveyor technology to complex intralogistics and automation solutions.

"We are grateful to Mr Riese for his many years of building up and expanding our production site in Germany. Under his leadership, the company has grown steadily and is now an important part of the Group," states Dr Feil, CSO of the ALVÁRIS Group. "We will build on the very successful work of Mr Riese and his team for the further development of the company," continues Feil.

As part of the ALVÁRIS Group's international sales presence, the Suhl site serves the North-West Europe region, including the German, Danish and Benelux markets.
