In view of the growing international demand for automation solutions for production, assembly and logistics processes, the Austrian manufacturer of aluminium profile systems has introduced two new series of belt conveyors, the GF 40 and the GF 80. The newly developed, modular system approach and the possibility to configure the conveyor belts online offer short delivery times and at the same time a wide selection of equipment variants. The presentation of the new belt conveyors at the LogiMAT 2022 trade fair marks the start of the relaunch of the entire conveyor technology product range.

Rankweil, 31.05.2022 - In order to increase process efficiency, companies are increasingly relying on the use of automation solutions. This trend is equally evident in industry and in the logistics sector. With this in mind, ALVÁRIS has developed a new modular system for belt conveyors that enables the simple selection of numerous drive types and design options and provides access to an extensive range of accessories.

"Very short delivery times despite extensive selection options is the decisive criterion for our customers", says Manfred Filzmaier, managing partner of the ALVÁRIS Group. "This was therefore our main premise in the development of the new modular system for the GF 40 and GF 80 series" Filzmaier notes further.

The company has been offering a wide range of standardised and customised solutions in conveyor technology for many years. In addition to belt conveyors, the range includes chain, toothed belt and modular belt conveyors as well as gravity or actively driven roller conveyors. The newly developed modular system is compatible with the proven ALVÁRIS range of aluminium profiles and components.

"The ability to design and order the belt conveyors online via a configurator saves time and resources. The integration into our ERP system not only guarantees a lean ordering process, the modular system also guarantees a lean production-controlled and thus time-optimised manufacturing process," notes Franz Füchsl, COO of the ALVÁRIS Group.

The new design and manufacturing approach offers customers not only time savings in the realisation of their automation projects but also a high level of economic efficiency. In order to achieve reliable operational readiness, long service life and optimised operating costs, the belt conveyors are equipped exclusively with high-quality components from renowned quality suppliers. The specific design of the GF 40 and GF 80 conveyor belts allows long maintenance intervals and low maintenance costs.

The possibility of expanding the ALVÁRIS conveyor system to include digital control, information and analysis options was already envisaged during development.
