15.03.2021 Rankweil, Vienna - This year again, the 'BEST PRODUCT' award took place, which is presented annually by the organiser of the LogiMAT trade fair for innovative products that contribute to an improvement in efficiency and quality in the field of intralogistics. ALVÁRIS congratulates KNAPP and its subsidiary ivii on receiving the prestigious award in the category 'Software, Communication, IT'. ALVÁRIS is pleased to have contributed to this success through the design and production of the special workstation hardware.

The ivii.smartdesk is an intelligent workstation system equipped with a digital recognition and image processing system. For example, the individual components can be digitally recorded, assigned and checked with regard to assembly sequence and assembly quality during the manual assembly of subassemblies. In the logistics area, the system can also automatically map the necessary control functions for incoming and outgoing goods.

Intelligent image processing performs the inspection in real time, allowing immediate feedback and process interruption or corrections if necessary. This enables the realisation of a zero defect strategy.
